Christopher Gregor Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison for Child Abuse Leading to Death

In a deeply distressing case that has left many reeling, Christopher Gregor, a 31-year-old from the United States, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the tragic death of his six-year-old son, Corey Micciolo. The sentence includes 20 years for aggravated manslaughter and an additional five years for child endangerment.

The case gained widespread attention due to the shocking nature of the abuse. On March 20, 2021, Gregor was caught on video forcing Corey to run on a treadmill at dangerously high speeds. The video, shown in court, revealed the horrifying scene of the young boy being subjected to a punishment that led him to fall multiple times, suffering severe injuries in the process.

Just two weeks later, on April 2, 2021, Corey’s condition took a turn for the worse. He woke up feeling unwell, disoriented, and struggling to speak. He told the court, “I want to assure you that on April 2, I did nothing to cause Corey’s passing. I didn’t hurt my son. I loved him and I still do. I regret not bringing him to the hospital sooner. I didn’t know how sick he was.”
